Family visa routes

Fiance Visa

You plan to marry in the UK within 6 months. A 6-month visa to enter the UK and marry. You cannot work on this visa. After your ceremony, you switch to a spouse visa continue your stay.

Spouse Visa

You are married to someone settled in the UK. Entry clearance for married couples to live together in the UK. Granted for 33 months initially, with a path to settlement after 5 years.

Unmarried Partner Visa

You been in a relationship similar to mariage for at least 2 years but are not married. For couples in a genuine, subsisting relationship. Same rights and pathway as the spouse visa.

Proposed Civil Partner Visa

You plan to enter a civil partnership in the UK within 6 months. A 6-month visa to enter the UK and enter a civil partnership. You cannot work on this visa. After your ceremony, you switch to a civil partner visa to continue your stay.
